Renjith for Model Number wsm2700hbwww When the spin cycle starts, there is a sound from the motor drive area, belt area. How do I fix this?
Answer Hello Renjith, Unplug the machine and access the belt. Spin the idler pulley WH7X115 by hand. If it feels smooth and spins without resistance, without re-installing the belt, re-establish the power to the unit and put it in spin. Now you can listen to the pump WH23X10041. A foreign object can be in the pump touching the impeller. In an instance such as this, the drain pump can still pump out the water, but the item will make more noise than anyone would think. If the pump sounds normal the issue is probably the spin bearing. In this design, the lower spin bearing is made on the transmission, so if the lower spin bearing has failed, it will necessitate the replacement of the transmission assembly WH38X10014. Read More...
