Kathy for Model Number JGSP4880114BB 2005 GE range. When the oven was preheating there is a really bad peppery exhaust type of odor. When I opened the oven door a flash flame came out. Luckily I only got scenged a little. On a prior occasion, I noticed a blue flame spreaded across the top of the oven that quickly burned out. Burners work ok and I don't smell any leaking propane when everything is turned off. What do you think it is? I hope it can be fixed rather than buying a new stove.
Answer Kathy, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty oven control valve WB21T10014. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, December 11, 2017
