Sjpanz for Model Number JGP979BEF1BB How do you remove this valve from the manifold? I saw and removed the nut attaching the tubing to the valve, but the valve itself sits very firmly on the manifold and appears difficult to pull or twist out. HELP
Answer SJ, Once you disconnect the burner valve gas supply tube from the burner valve, you will need to remove the bolt and gasket from the bottom side of the manifold(the round disc with all the burner valves attached to it), then you should be able to lift the valve body straight up and out of the manifold. You may need to "rock" the valve side to side to break the valve gasket loose, but Do Not Attempt to twist it, you may cause more damage. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
