Manufacturer Part Number: WB21X5322

This is a burner valve. The purpose of this part is to control the flow of gas to the surface burner. When a gas valve has gone bad, it may become stuck and not work properly. A faulty valve will cause gas to release through the burner. The user may notice that the burner flame flickers or that the burner will not turn to high. If the smell of gas is detected, make sure to turn the gas off immediately. Before replacing this part, make sure to turn the gas off. After the new one is installed, it's important to check for a gas leak. This part is sourced straight from the manufacturer and is sold individually. This particular part is compatible with cooktops that are manufactured by General Electric, including Hotpoint and RCA.
