Kl for Model Number WWRE6260D1WW My washer won't spin or agitate. It fills with water and goes through the cycle normally. It just doesn't spin or agitate. The lid assembly switch is fine (I replaced it about 2 years ago). I removed the front panel and the belt under the motor looks good. About 6 months ago I had to reset the motor. The machine has functioned normally since then. All of the sudden on Saturday I noticed that it wasn't spinning or agitating. What could this be? Thanks
Answer KL, You will want to test the lid switch even though it was replaced 2 years ago as this is the most common reason for the unit to not spin and agitate. Check to see if you are getting 120 vac to the motor and if you are then the motor is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 22, 2013
