Chris for Model Number VVSR1040V2WW Several months ago, due to a loud spin cycle, we replaced the transmission/brake assembly, hub, bearing washer, seal, and hub washer. The other day, the washer had a very bad imbalance and was left alone; my wife returned to the washer moved about 6 inches out of place and it would not spin or agitate. I purchased and replaced the agitator coupling after some research, but then I noticed that the lid switch striker was completely separated, which I put back into place. Now the unit will spin, but will not agitate (even with the new agitator coupling). The belt/pulley move freely by hand, but the transmission does not move at that time. The transmission housing moves during the spin cycle. The belt seems to have good tension and be in good shape, along with the clutch retaining clip. The motor/transmission/clutch/belt seem to move correctly during the spin cycle, but nothing happens during agitation cycle (with the top closed). Thanks.
Answer Chris, I would remove the front panel and visually check my wire harness connections at the motor and door lock to make sure no damage was done. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 2, 2018
