J for Model Number WJSR1070A1WW I am replacing the coupler for my GE washer and and it was quite difficult to remove, I then cleaned up the mess with a dry rag and vacuum. But, I can’t seem to get the coupler back on, I do not want to put too much downward force on the part as it is supposed to just slide on. Any other’s with this issue?
Answer J, When installing the coupler onto the shaft, you have to get the splines lined up and sometimes this requires twisting the coupling to get it to slide in place.
