Megan for Model Number ge top load (model #) My machine fills, spins, & drains but it will not agitate. The agitator spins freely. I've removed the agitator and the coupler spins free but if I lift it 1/8" it catches and doesn't move free. Does this sound like the splines are bad in the coupler?
Answer Hello Megan, This is definitely a bad coupler. If you looked it up by your correct model number, the part number you were looking at WH49X10042 is correct. Otherwise, without the model number, nothing can be correctly looked up since everything in the appliance field is model specific. Read More...
