Luis for Model Number wpre8100g0wt I have question about an issue with my 2006 ge hydrowave washer. I have tried replacing endless parts but nothing seems to fix the issue. The problem with the washer is that everything seems to function right. It agitates, spins, drains, and fills fine but not in the right order and not always. It seems to keep agitating while it is draining and once the cycle is complete, it stays on and continues agitating even with the power button off. I have changed the control board twice. I also changed the lid switch but the issue remained. I checked the motor led light and no error issues were present and it lit normally at .5 sec on and .5 sec off while running and 1 sec on, 1 sec off on standby. Tried resetting it various times by powering it off two minutes, and opening and closing the lid six times, but no success. At this point I have no clue what else could be the problem, the washer just seems out of whack. I would greatly appreciate any advice!
Answer Hi. All the explanation you provided is a timed issue from a control part # WH12X10405. Continuous run of the unit is a shorted controls. You will also need to consider changing the power filter part # WH12X10408. Look at the file sent to assist. I will be here if I can assist you further. Thank You. Read More...
