Joe E. for Model Number GTWN4250M0WS Washer beeps when started, like it does when the lid is up, but in reality the lid is closed. Washer will fill and we've gotten it to pump out by turning knob to the "drain and spin" setting , but it does not spin here or in any other mode. Control panel diagnostic indicates no fill (knob position 3, rinse light lit) and I'm not sure if that's correct. All other knob positions during control panel diagnostics seem OK. Motor status indicator has flashed 10 times while trying different things and usually went back to 10 flashes after removing power and retrying it. Just seeing on-off heartbeats on it right right now. We run well water in the washer and rarely use bleach.
Answer Joe, The 10 flashes on the motor control will indicate that there is a communication error with the main board. The recommendation is to replace the control board in the backsplash and if this does not correct the issue then the motor would need replaced. Read More...
