Clayton for Model Number PFSS6PKXDSS I have a slow water leak (about a drip per minute) from the door water dispenser. I was told the valve should be replaced. I just replaced it with part # wr57x10091 today and have the same leak as before. Do I need to try something else? Should I just give it some time (and just wipe up the water for a day)? Should I send back the new valve and put the old one back on (fridge is about 3.5 yrs old)?...what to try next???
Answer Hello Clayton. If you haven't purge the system, the air in the lines could cause a drip. Try running a minimum of a gallon through the water dispenser to get rid of any air present in the line. Hope this helps! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 2, 2014
