Ed H. for Model Number TFX28PPDB WW I have a delay of about twenty seconds when I press the button to get water. This is the same problem as described in a previous question. There is no coughing or sputtering so I don't think there is any air in the line. I have removed the filter and put in the bypass plug which didn't help. I have replaced the water valve part AP2071736 per your suggestion and that also made no difference. The stream is strong and steady once it starts. You hear a low buzz when you first press the button which becomes louder just before the water starts. It seems to work perfectly except for the long delay before releasing any water. What should I look at next?
Answer Hello Ed. You may need to replace the other water valve WR57X10022 on the unit. This model has a total of three water valves. Based on the information you provided, that is the only thing it could be. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 21, 2011
