George for Model Number GSS25LGMA I have a water leak where the hose goes into the white fitting, apparently to the water filter. How do I fix it?
Answer Hello George, Look at the end of the water line. If there is an indentation around it about 1/4 of an inch from the end from where it was installed before, this will have to be cut off squarely with a razor knife so it can seal properly. When completed, put the line in the fitting and push until it bottoms. Now push harder and it should "pop" in another 1/4 inch or so. Now pull on it like you're trying to pull it back out. This should seat the line against the seal. As long as the leak wasn't originating from the valve body, this should correct the leak issue. Read More...
