Debbie for Model Number LFX31925ST I have an LG LFX31925ST french door refrigerator with a broken water dispenser lever. I ordered a new lever but it won't stay on. The original lever had 2 springs, the replacement does not. I don't know if this is the issue or if a tab is missing on the panel part of the dispenser. Can you help please, we are thirsty!!
Answer Debbie, the panel MCK66542801 that the dispenser paddle goes onto should have 4 connector arms for the paddle. If these arms are broken, then this can cause the paddle to not stay on. The springs are responsible for pushing the paddle out away from the engaged position and are interchanged from the old paddle to the new paddle. Read More...
