Carolyn for Model Number LFXS26596S I have reverse osmosis in my kitchen and it also go into the LG refrigerator. I now have a water filter in the refrigerator and it is very slow because I think its clogged due to a water softener system no working properly. Do I need to replace the water filter or will it work properly without one. When they installed it they left out the filter. Later thought it would be great to put one in. I keep reading it’s not necessary if you have reverse osmosis in the kitchen sink. What is your opinion.
