Mike for Model Number RF23HCEDBSR/AA-0000 I purchased this model brand new and just had it delivered. While removing a warning sticker that came on the front of the touchscreen display panel it peeled away part of a plastic film membrane covering the control display panel. I am not sure if this should be remove as it appears to be a protective coating that is supposed to remain there for daily operation. I do not know if I can or should try and peel it away and if so do I need to replace it with a new plastic coating? Or do I need to replace the entire display panel? Again, this is a thin plastic coating but different from the plastic installed elsewhere when it came packaged from shipping. What bothers me is that it tore so easily. I can share a picture if you like. Please advise thank you
Answer Mike, That protective coating is to be removed and is there for the purpose of shipping so that the display does not get scratched or damaged while shipping. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 1, 2019
