With the power cord of the refrigerator unplugged, the following link can be used to remove the dispenser assembly. 1 Answer John, it would be recommended that the water tubing is inspected for any holes that could allow the water to spray onto the display. If the tubing has backed out of the bracket of the dispenser housing, this can cause the water to travel along the top of the assembly as well. Read More...

Replacement parts do not "normally" come with instructions unless there's been an engineering or parts re-design. Here are some of the instructions from the service manual: Remove power to the refrigerator. Pull out the drain/drip pan. Holding the inner side of the dispenser pull it forward/out to remove it. If the nozzle interferes with the button, push and pull out the bottom of the button. Remove/disconnect the lead wires, and remove the dispenser assembly. Remove the 1 screw on the PCB fixing screw, then remove the display PCB fixing screw. reverse the procedure, restore power to the refrigerator, re-program the board, and check for operation.
