Denise for Model Number LMX31985ST/01 How do I replace my display cover only on my lg refrigerator. I see some answers say do it with a knife and some say take out the dip tray and pull apart. Please advise Thank you.
Answer Denise, a putty knife would be needed to remove the display cover assembly MCK66585116. With the power cord to the appliance unplugged, the putty knife will be used to release the locking tabs of the entire dispenser cover assembly ACQ85430239 so that it may be pulled forward away from the door. Once it is free, the locking tabs for the display cover can be accessed on the back to release it without damaging the dispenser cover assembly. Read More...
