Bob H. for Model Number LFX21960ST I get an FI code on my LG refrigerator display. I can hear the duct assembly motor start up and it will run for approx. 15 seconds then shuts down.After doing so about 4 times, I receive the code. According to the manuel I read online, this fan must run for 140 seconds. My question is if I replace the Duct assembly motor (Part# AP4440210) will this cure the problem, or could the problem be with a control board?
Answer Hello Bob. Check and see if the board is sending power to the fan motor continuously or if it is imtermittent. If it is continuous, you will need to replace the fan.
