Attila for Model Number LDF7774ST So my dishwasher runs for maybe like 30 minutes and then it starts leaking. My question is there supposed to be a sensor or a float switch which controls the water level? When I open the door the water level is pretty high in the dishwasher. Could it be a faulty switch? Thank you.
Answer Attila, you may want to check to ensure that the unit is draining properly. If there are any partial clogs in the drain system, it can cause water to remain in the unit when it goes to fill for each portion of the cycle. Another item that can be checked is the flow meter. The flow meter can be tested by going to the flow meter located on the left side of the dishwasher near the inlet valve. You will want to test the blue and orange wire for 8-10 k Ohms, and the white and blue wire for 15-30 M Ohms. If the readings don't match up, then you have a bad flow sensor [6501DD2001A]. Otherwise, the inlet valve may not be closing properly either from a bad valve or the control not operating properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 13, 2019
