Tim for Model Number Ldf7811bb I purchased a new gasket and cannot get the door to shut tight so it leaks when I run it. Is there a trick to get the new gasket in place? I have pushed it in like the original, but it sticks out enough so the door doesn't latch properly. I have sold my house and moving this week so I need to resolve ASAP! Thanks, Tim
Answer Hello Tim. Remove the gasket and soak it in hot water for about 15 min in the bath tub. Then re-install the gasket 3920DD3005A and press the door closed and hold it closed tight for about 5 to 10 minutes to form the gasket. It should work properly after this. Read More...
