Elmer for Model Number WM2496HWM I think we need a new boot seal. Ours have 3 round holes and 3 slots on the bottom. When the washer is done, there is still water left in the bottom of the boot ring. She wipes it up and goes around the whole ring.
Answer Elmer, while it is normal to have a little water on the door boot 4986ER0004E, water can be retained if the drain ports start to become clogged.
