Mike for Model Number 796.81532210 I just replaced the front thermostat on the heater assembly, the dryer ran fine for one load the quit again. I have checked the dryer vent pipe and all internal passages for obstructions and found none. I checked the thermostat in the blower housing along with the thermocouple in the blower housing, both seem to be ok with 10 ohms. I also checked the rear cycling switch in the heater housing. I am unable to tell what temperature it switches at but it seems to have continuity after it switches for a second or two in both directions (on and off), before it breaks connection. Is that the cause for overheating and blowing the front thermostat? Is there anything else to check? I have already ordered a new front thermostat and cycling switch to try out.
