Answer

Doug, You would want to test the thermal fuse and thermostats on the unit to make sure that they are good. This would be the most likely causes of failure. Also check to make sure that the venting is clean and clear. If the thermal fuse on the heater is blowing then it may be the heater relay on the control board being stuck closed causing the heater to stay on.
