Rich M for Model Number Kenmore Refrigerator Model # 79576203901 Kenmore Model 79576203901. Ice Maker model AEQ72909602. Ice maker is not dumping after ice is made. The original problem was the fill valve was leaking water and overfilling the tray. The tray froze up and could not dump the ice. I replaced the fill valve and removed ice maker assembly to thaw it out. I reinstalled the ice maker. It now fills to the proper level but has not dumped the tray in 24 hours. Question: If I press the test button on the ice maker should it force the ice to dump if it is working mechanically? I pushed it and it did not dump the ice. Trying to figure out if the problem is the ice maker or the control panel sending it a signal to dump. Thanks in advance for you assistance.
