Az for Model Number LFCS25426D Hello, We have a French door fridge with a bottom freezer and no ice/water on the door. Our Ice maker started clumping ice last week, ( water in ice cube tray). so I defrosted and cleaned the ice maker, (Front 4 cubes were solid and not dumping). We reset it by leaving in off position then dumped ice and started it. the first 1 or 2 trays were good. Then it starting dumping the ice before it was frozen solid (hollow cubes with water). We reset again and set the freezer temp at -1 deg, which was at 0 degs originally. Again the first 1 or so trays were good, but then clumping again with hollow cubes. Will replacing the ice maker solve this type of issue or is it a bigger issue with the overall Fridge? Thank you
Answer AZ, based on the information provided, the issue would be with the ice maker AEQ72909603 not completing a harvest properly by not rotating the tray fully, as well as going into a harvest mode prematurely. This would be controlled in the ice maker motor controller found on the ice maker. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 12, 2019
