Wayne for Model Number LG LDF9810ST I usually start my dishwasher at night before going to bed and unload it in the morning allowing all night to dry the dishes. This morning as I began to unload the dishwasher I noticed the silverware and dishes were still wet. Upon checking all the other dishes I noticed the detergent pod still lying in the bottom of the machine still undissolved. I decided to start another cycle to see what was going on. I pressed the power button, selected a normal cycle and closed the door. The unit soon began pumping out what small amount of water remained in the bottom. Soon afterwards I could hear the water filling the dishwasher. All this seemed normal. After that I could hear nothing. Usually I can hear the motor softly running and the swishing of the sprayer arms. I could not see any error codes come up. I thought it could be the circulating motor (maybe the diverting motor?), I assumed the dishes could be wet due to steam and humidity in the dishwasher regardless of whether the sprayers were working but I still was puzzled by the dishes not being dried unless I am having more than one issue happening at the same time. I also did a reset of the dishwasher to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Answer Wayne, it would be recommended that the circulation motor is tested for incoming voltage to identify if the main control EBR38144406 (part has been discontinued by the manufacturer) is sending voltage to the motor. If not, the main control has failed and could cause many issues, including improper heating and drying. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, February 14, 2021
