Charlie for Model Number DLG2522W My LG 1SZZEL3001A started making some noise. I ordered the roller kits, drum belt and the idler pulley assembly as these are parts which are potentially causing the problem. After I removed the roller, I didn't really see any obvious broken/bad roller/idler pulley, I went ahead and replaced the drum belt and the idler pulley anyway. I didn't replace any of the rollers as they appear to be ok. But the noise still didn't go away. I opened the dryer up again, and feel the idler pulley has more room to move along the axle than necessary. I suspect that causes more vibration(pure speculation). Also when I put the screw(1SZZEL3001A) in, it cannot be tighened at the end. Is that supposed to be? I understand that the screw is custome made and allows the idler pulley to move around the axle freely. Also, is that possible that the noise is caused by one or more of the rollers even though they are appear to be ok? Thank you
Answer Charlie, This would most likely be a roller issue since the idler pulley and belt have been replaced. Also, check the blower wheel to make sure that the wheel is not damaged in any way. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, March 13, 2023
