Debbi i have a kemore elite washing machine model # 79629272001...the washer plate keeps coming off i screw it down but it make a scraping noise..is there a rubber washer that goes on under plate
Answer Debbi, Yes, there is a washer underneath the "pulsator"/agitator FAF30369201 / FAF30369201] / Washer. You will need to remove the pulsator and check to see if it is missing or deformed. Also check and clean the area under the pulsator, and check the pulsator for bends or dips in the edge all the way around. Also consider a new pulsator bolt FAB30598601 / FAB30598601 Washer Screw, and replace the bolt and tighten it as tight as possible, the blue "loctite" should hold it in place and keep it from coming loose.
