Glenn for Model Number WT4870CW Hi, have an error code e6, machine won’t run. Viewing with back panel remove the drum slowly agitates for a few seconds, 4 times then shuts down and code pops up. Checked per instructions for coins or anything stuck between washer pulsator plate and drum, found nothing. Pulsator will sping by hand and no noise. Removed cap and retaining bolt, pulsator is siezed on clutch shaft! Saw online that if you add boiling water to tub it should free up plate. Still won’t come off! Any suggestions? I’m trying to get at drive assembly, but won’t be able to get at large retaining nut 38mm, until pulsator is removed.
Answer Glenn, Try spraying some penetrating oil on in the opening of the pulsator and let it soak a little and see if this does not help to break it free, If this does not allow it to come off then try to get a rope under it and use leverage to pull it off.
