Richard Schuldt for Model Number WT5101HW Purchased an agitator plate from you a while back. Tightened the bolt down and it works for a while then comes loose. Put some Loctite on it and cranked it down... Now it doesn’t agitate? What is the torque spec for the bolt? Did I ruin it by over-tightening? Thanks!
Answer Richard, Unfortunately, we do not have the torque specifications for the agitator bolt. It would be recommended to back the bolt off and remove the wash plate and see if the tub will turn by hand. If the tub will not move then it is possible to have an actuator issue, a rotor or stator that is faulty, bearings that are bad, something stuck between the tubs. Read More...
