Trish for Model Number WT7300CV My washer smells, no matter how much I do tub cleans. And there is dark brown sludge pieces remaining in the tub after a tub clean. I removed the pulsator cap and it is filled with the same sludge along with the inside of the pulsator. I was wondering if there are drains in there? Could they be clogged? I've taken the cap off to clean this at least 3 times but it just builds back up.
Answer Trish, oftentimes, this is caused by too much residue left over from softeners and detergents, or from too much of either being used. This can be corrected by running several washes of vinegar through without any clothes in the washer. The pulsator AGZ72909701 does have 3 weep holes under the pulsator cap that should allow water to drain out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 8, 2022
