Gail for Model Number LG top load washer model # WT7300CW I had scrud from my LG top load washing machine coming out on my clothes. After watching videos online we took the washing machine apart and cleaned every bit of scrud that we could but it’s build up inside the pulsator. I worked for days trying to flush it out with hot water and bar keepers friend then hot water and oxi clean. I kept it soaking in hot water and tried forcing the scrud out by pushing the pulsator down into the water forcefully. I got a lot out but eventually put it back in the washing machine hoping to get the rest out with the clean cycle and affresh. I’ve put it through two clean cycles and a lot of scrud keeps coming out. My question is will I be able to get all the scrud out this way. Is there a better washer cleaner to use. I don’t want to have to buy a new pulsator and I’ve put so much work into it so far I’m determined to clean it. Do you think a few more clean cycles will do it or is it a lost cause. Thank you.
Answer Gail, The build-up will cause the issue and will come clean over time and cleaning. Try using vinegar to clean this as the acidity of it may work. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, October 13, 2023
