Dee for Model Number WM2140C My LG washer is shutting off after couple minutes and the code shown is PF.....the LG representive gave me 2 options ....1. Restart the washer by plugging it out , holding down the start button for 5 seconds and then re plug the washer. and 2. Turning off and on the breaker .....nothing worked the washer is still shutting off ...what part would you suggest is needed., I was told that the motor is bad so if it's bad what part do I order to replace the motor ?
Answer Dee, You will want to check the power connection at the wall outlet under a load to make sure that the power supply is not dropping out. You will want to keep the unit plugged in and turn it on and see if you loose the 120 vac at the power supply. If not then this would be a control board issue. Read More...
