Kim for Model Number DLE0442W The rear seal on my LG dryer came off and ended up inside the drum where I pulled it out with a load of clothes. I'm having the seal replaced but I'm wondering what could have made the seal come off that way. The dryer would often take two or three cycles to actually get the clothes dry and was very loud.
Answer Kim, you may want to inspect the rollers 4581EL3001E to ensure they are not seized up or worn down as this can cause the drum to not rotate properly. You may also want to inspect the ventilation through the house to ensure that there are no clogs from lint. These two items together can cause drying issues as the drum will not rotate properly and the dryer would not have good airflow to dry. Read More...
