John A for Model Number LFX25976SB The Water Valve Assy at the bottom right back of unit was replaced by a repairman bad gasket was leaking. Now we are not getting water to Ice Maker. We are getting water to water dispenser in door. We have turned the Power switch on and off. We cleaned the Ice detecting sensor. We called the repairman back and they said we had a bad motor behind ice maker in door. Any suggestions. Ice maker was working fine before the Water Valve Assy was replaced
Answer John, Try hitting the test switch at the bottom of the icemaker to see if the icemaker cycles and puts water into the icemaker. If not then it could be a bad water valve in the door.
