Mike Hi we got lg lmx21984St refrigerator and when we pressing button for ice its sounds like dispensing ice but the door is not opening to let it out what parts we need to replace is it solenoid and the duct cap ?
Answer Hello Mike. It sounds like the solenoid may be bad in the unit. You will need to test the solenoid. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
