Chris for Model Number LSC27950ST Hello, I was wondering if you guys have the steps from a service manual for me to gain access to this solenoid wich controls the ice maker chute flap. I would like to purchase this part, but I dont see any visible way to remove the ice/water dispenser front face plate and I do'nt want to play any guessing games and break something. Thanks, Chris
Answer Hello Chris. The dispenser cover unsnapps off the front of the freezer door. You can use a putty knife or butter knife to remove it. Be careful not to scratch the freezer door.
