David for Model Number LG M/N LDF6920ST I have a Lg dishwasher that we need to secure to the cabinet through the sides. You have to remove the clip that holds the spring down to make room for the bracket that the screws goes through to attach to the cabinet. But when this is done the spring is too long and the door flops down, is there a shorter spring available? Thank you,
Answer David, There is no reason to remove the clip for the spring to install the unit. In the opening of the dishwasher door approximately 1/4 of the way down on the sides, there are screw covers. You would take the cover off and line the dishwasher up so that you can install the screw. Once installed you will put the screw cover back on.
