Shane for Model Number kenmore 79573055410 Water dispenser randomly dispenses water. Replaced micro switch part #6600JB3001C, which did not fix the problem. Also purchased micro switch part #6600JB3001F, however, I do not see it listed on the parts diagram. Does this model have 2 micro switches and if so, where is 3001F located? If there is only the 1 switch that I replaced, what could the problem be?
Answer Shane, this model would only use 1 microswitch in the dispenser assembly. Based on the information provided, it sounds like the dispenser display control ACQ86409709 is failing and intermittently causing the water to be dispensed. Read More...
