Nancy for Model Number LSC26905TT Recently had to replace a fuse as the unit stopped working. New fuse and everything was fine. Now the refrigerator side of the unit is freezing everything. Do I need a new thermostat or is the problem more extensive. Freezer temp is fine.
Answer Nancy, check to make sure the doors and door gaskets are closing and sealing properly. Check and make sure the articles on the shelves aren't hanging over the edges, or laying up against the walls, blocking or trapping the air flow. If all's OK suspect the auto damper 5209JJ1013B, it is mostlikely stuck or sticking open, and allowing more cold air to the refrigerator than is needed to cool properly. Read More...
