Min-Chan Kim for Model Number GR-J303UG Hi, I have bought PTC Start Relay for this Model but I am not sure if the part is working condition or not. This has terminal numbers 1 to 6. To check for the continuity. I connected to number 5 and 6 with multi-meter and it does not have continuity read. Is this relay good or bad? Condenser coil is cleaned, compressor running in good condition (checked), No cool air coming.
Answer Min-Chan, You would not be able to test the relay for a refrigerator. You would want to install the part on the unit and see if the compressor starts. If the compressor is running but the unit is not cooling then this will be a sealed system issue and will need to have service as there may be a leak in the sealed system. Read More...
