Martin B for Model Number DLGY1702WE I have installed the LG3911EZ9131X side exhaust kit in this dryer. The problem I've encountered is the side exhaust pipe is not a standard 4" diameter pipe, furthermore its end is flared. I can't find any standard fittings that will adapt to this exhaust. Additionally, the flared end of this pipe is flush with the side of the dryer so even if the pipe were the correct diameter it would be impossible to secure the exhaust ducting to it. What do I need to connect the exhaust ducting to this kit and where can I purchase the items needed? Thank you, Marty
Answer Martin B. Unfortunately we do not have any information on this dryer exhaust change. This is what the service manual states but is very vague. 1. Remove a screw and the exhaust duct.
