Looking For Some Help for Model Number MCBR415S obtained a used mini fridge checking components to get it to run, got the fridge to turn on but not cooling. checked the temp control and it seems OK, I noticed four pins to be used on the component but only three were being used. When I went to put it back together I noticed a loose wire without a connector, checked the drawings. I couldn't find a drawing to help me connect the colored wires to the temperature control. Do I need three or four wire connection, maybe that's my answer to the first problem.
Answer Looking for some help, Based on the little information we were able to retrieve, there should be three(3) wires attached to the cold control. The brown wire is power(120 VAC) into the control, and should be attached to the brass colored terminal, The red wire is power out (120 VAC) the the compressor overload and relay circuits, and should be attached to the other bras colored terminal. The green wire is the ground circuit (safety) and would be attached to the smaller silver or metal colored terminal n/near the front of the control. Read More...
