1 Answer Author, Sounds like you are having a defrost issue.If your coils are iced up no air can be pushed into refrigerator compartment.You can check your defrost heater and defrost bi metal for continuity.If they pass a defrost timer will be your issue.Also make sure that fan in freezer is running.Part # 502415000078 is heater,502413000036 is your bi metal and 502414000009 is your timer. Looking For Some Help May 29, 2017 for Model Number MCBR415S obtained a used mini fridge checking components to get it to run, got the fridge to turn on but not cooling. checked the temp control and it seems OK, I noticed four pins to be used on the component but only three were being used. When I went to put it back together I noticed a loose wire without a connector, checked the drawings. I couldn't find a drawing to help me connect the colored wires to the temperature control. Do I need three or four wire connection, maybe that's my answer to the first problem.
1 Answer Looking for some help, Based on the little information we were able to retrieve, there should be three(3) wires attached to the cold control. The brown wire is power(120 VAC) into the control, and should be attached to the brass colored terminal, The red wire is power out (120 VAC) the the compressor overload and relay circuits, and should be attached to the other bras colored terminal. Milt June 12, 2016 for Model Number Magic chef hmbr350 The freezer was badly in need of defrost. It looks like the temp probe was damaged when pulling out chunks of ice. The end on the wire is flattened and has no exposed metal. fridge is not cooling at all. Btw where is the end of the probe inserted? I can see no insertion point. Do I need a new controller?

Rob A April 08, 2014 for Model Number magic chef refrigeratore model MCBR445W1 I moved the refrigerator around and when I put it back into position it turns on and cools and then it stops working. If I take the temperature dial from about 6 back to zero until it clicks and then set it at 6 again the refrigerator works fine until it is cool and then again it simply shuts off and won't restart unless I go through the cycle again.
