Sam for Model Number RCO410 I recently bought a used refrigerator. It was running when I picked it up. While moving it the RCO dropped out of the mount. There is a white and red wire in the mount with spade connectors attached. there are two double spade connectors on the RCO unit. Does it make a difference which wire goes where? If it does can you tell me the orientation? Thanks Sam
Answer Sam, There should be 3 wires coming off the RCO a black a white and a red. The terminals of the compressor will be in a triangular shape like the pins are the corner points. The top point of the triangle will have the black wire on it. If the triangle point is up then the red will go on the right side terminal and the white on the left. If the point is down then it would go on the left terminal and the white on the right. If you look at the RCO then it will show a diagram that has the wiring on it. Read More...
