Abdul for Model Number TBX21ZPJRAD I have a refrigerator that is not freezing and not cooling the fridge, also the compressor (RS8B1G2) is running hot, I tested the compressor and it seems ok, however, I'm not sure why it is running hot, it doesn't seem to be running. So if the starter relay (WR7X222) is not good, why the compressor is hot? I'm confused? I thought if the relay is bad, the compressor shouldn't be running, therefore, shouldn't be hot? So I'm not sure if I should replace the relay or there might be another problem. I didn't check the compressor for shorts? Could that be the problem? It is still keeping the temperature a little cold in the freezer, but not as needed? is there a replacement relay for this one, since this is not available?
Answer Abdul, If the start relay has failed then the compressor will be hot due to trying to start up. With the start relay being discontinued you could get a 3 N 1 relay combo kit TJ90RCO410. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, June 6, 2016
