Phil B for Model Number DV350AEW/XAA 1st issue: I replaced the Dryer Heating Element because dryer was running but no heat produced. I followed your video and replaced, put the machine back together, hit start and within 2 seconds machine stopped working and front panel lights went out and have yet to come back on. It went from not heating, to not working. the only thing that I did different and hopefully didn't screw it up more is that when removing part 1-9 it cracked, I continued without it, could that have caused a short, and what would you suggest I do to get this machine up and running. Have 3 kids under 6yo, wife currently hates me. haha. thank you very much.
Answer Phil, Cracking the insulator should not cause this issue. With this issue that you are having it would be recommended to test the thermal fuse on the unit to make sure that it is good. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 6, 2017
