Wayne for Model Number DV448AGP/XAA The dryer doesn’t realize the clothes are dry and keeps running with heat until it times out. Is there a sensor issue? Thank You
Answer Wayne, you may want to check to ensure that the sensors do not show continuity unless a moist item is applied to both sensor bars at the same time. If there is continuity, then you may want to identify where in the wiring that the sensors are bridging together as they are an open state unless moisture bridges them together. If the sensors check good, then you will have a main control [DC92-00123A] issue as this is responsible for receiving the input from the sensor circuit. Read More...
