Terri for Model Number Samsung NE589500SS The display panel is totally black and I'm not able control my clock, oven, etc but the burners work. Darren (other person question who had the same issue) I went by the response that was given to him and ordered the part #DE96-01027A Assy Display and installed it. It still doesn't work "totally blank". Before I send the part back is there anything else I should check? I made sure all the connectors where tight. I'm not sure if there is anything more I can do.
Answer Terri, You will want to check the ribbon connection at the main PCB to make sure that there is a good connection with no corrosion.
